Improve your company’s image by having domain level email addresses (i.e. jack@yourwebaddress.com). Having a gmail address, or your one through your local Internet provider, appears short term and less professional. According to a survey by VisibleLogic, 70% of people said they thought non-domain level emails looked unprofessional. If you are really attached to your current email, you can always have the new web address forwarded to your old one.

WordPress is an open source platform for websites. Programmers from around the world have contributed via plugins. There are thousands to choose from and they are reviewed and vetted by users. You can upload anything from photo galleries to mortgage calculators to contact forms with captcha features. One may not work perfect for your site, but they can be altered to fit your needs. Here are few we use consistently and recommend.

Content can be a hardest part of your website to create. If you are at a loss for words, find an image that shows what you’re trying to convey. You have about 3 seconds to get your viewers attention and images are the best way to do so.

If you have a retail or office location and mainly work locally, you should definitely be listed on Google Places. It not only helps customers find you geographically, but it also helps them find your website.

Post Constant Contact Email to WordPress Site

While it’s easy to socially share your Constant Contact emails with Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn, there’s no simple way to quickly post to your WordPress website. After looking at some alternatives we have figured out a few workarounds.

1. Add your Facebook feed to your website. – There are several plugins to choose from, but most have limitations in hopes that you’ll upgrade to the pro version. You have to set up a developer account and create an app to be able to retrieve your feed. Also if there are any restrictions on viewership for your Facebook page, the feed does not work.

2. Post your Twitter feed to your website. -Just need your login to make this work.

3. Set up an email account that automatically posts to your Website. -Using a Post via email plugin makes this work. Just add the email to your contact list and your Constant Contact email is placed on your posts page.
